Connect with fellow members through hangouts, social gatherings, and volunteer activities that foster a strong sense of community.

Participate in workshops, mentorship programs, and speaker series aimed at helping students and young professionals build successful careers and navigate their journeys into adulthood.

Celebrate and preserve the rich Teochew culture with docent-led heritage trails, cultural workshops, and learning journeys that deepen our appreciation for our shared heritage.

In the NAKAA, you'll gain a lot of meaningful friendships and connections when you're brave enough to take that first step. The community is always very welcoming and willing to share. We have fun doing activities like karaoke, baking and fitness workshops; we also develop ourselves to navigate the world of work better through the Ignite mentorship programme, career skills workshops etc. As an introvert, my advice is - just pull yourself out of your house that day, and you'll thank yourself for it later!

The NAKAA has a special place in my heart. I’ve not only reconnected with my Teochew heritage, I’ve also met many diverse individuals from all across Singapore & made really good friends with a bunch of them. I highly recommend joining the events if you love learning and trying out new things, making new friends, & wish to contribute to a meaningful organisation!

I honed my leadership skills by learning how to effectively manage teams, communicate clearly, and think strategically. I also developed the ability to approach challenges with a fresh perspective and successfully execute large-scale projects. These experiences not only shaped me as a leader but also enriched me personally, allowing me to build strong friendships with my peers. I highly encourage others to join this vibrant and supportive community! ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎
